Fire destroys seven houses in Senen

A fire gutted seven houses in Jl. Pramuka Jati, Senen, Central Jakarta on Sunday afternoon, no casualties were reported.
“Four houses were razed to the ground, while three others were severely damaged,” said operations head of the Central Jakarta Fire Agency Ahmad Lamping, as quoted by kompas.com.
The fire started at around 2:20pm, allegedly in a house whose owner had fallen asleep while cooking, said one of the residents.(iwa)
