Fire destroys 30 bikes in Nagbhid

Property worth around 50 lakh was gutted in a massive fire in Ganraj Hero Motorcycle showroom at Nagbhid on Wednesday evening. More than 30 motorbikes were reportedly gutted in the inferno.
The incident came to light at around 7.30pm after the showroom was closed. People saw smoke rising from the showroom and raised an alarm. A police team reached the scene and summoned fire engines from Bramhapuri, Wadsa and Gadchiroli to douse the fire. The fire was brought under control late in the night.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but it is suspected that a short-circuit may have sparked the fire.
