Teenager killed in Ason fire

KATHMANDU: A person was killed when a massive fire broke out at Tyauda of Ason on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Sujan Nagarkoti (18), a tenant of local Binod Tuladhar, who houses were caught in the fire. Nagarkoti’s elder sister Sonu Nagarkoti was injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at the Bir Hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire said.
The fire that began at around 7:30 pm was brought under control after two and half hours.
Three houses including of Tuladhar were reduced to ashes in the fire. Details of damage are awaited.
