Fire guts rubber-mat store, seen for kilometres

Fire raged through a shop selling rubber floor mats for cars in Chom Thong district of Bangkok on Friday afternoon.
The huge blaze, which created a black column of smoke dozens of stories high, was reported via traffic radio station Twitter @js100radio around 2.10pm at Kamnan Mean intersection on Kalapapruek Road.
Fire trucks rushed to the scene and control the flames in about 30 minutes. The fire damaged the store and two vehicles, according to posts on Twitter.
