Fire destroys paper godown in Kolkata

KOLKATA: A paper godown was gutted in a fire on Keshab Sen street in the northern part of the city.
Eight fire-tenders brought the situation under control in over two hours, fire brigade and police sources said.
Fire personnel tried their best to prevent spread of the fire in the congested locality adjacent to the affected godown.
The cause of the fire or the extent of damages was yet to be ascertained.
