Fire breaks out at factory in Udyog Vihar

A fire broke out on Saturday in a home furnishing firm in Udyog Vihar Phase III at around 5.15 pm. The fire is still on and fire workers are struggling to take the situation under control.
The firm was under construction and fire broke out in the basement due to a short circuit. As cotton, paper and garments were kept in the basement in large quantities, the fire immediately spread across the basement.
The fire brigade reached within 10 minutes. According to an estimate, material worth lakhs of rupees has burnt down in the fire.
10 fire tenders along with 50 fire workers have been sent to the spot and struggling to douse the fire.
