Thanlyin sees two fires in a day

A FIRE destroyed a shop owned by one U Du Yar, 40, in Zay Cho road, Myoma Taung ward, Thanlyin town on Friday. The fire was put out by firemen with ten fire engines and with the help of local residents. The police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
Another fire broke out in Bogyoke village, Thanlyin township on the same day. The fire was put out by firemen with two fire engines.
