Updated: 2016-03-10-04:55
Barangay South Triangle officials were quick to respond to an emergency early morning on Thursday to help a taxi driver and his passenger, Allan Gatus reported for Super Radyo dzBB.
Thick smoke was seen coming out of the hood of the taxi driven by Robert Santorias as he reached the corner of Timog Avenue and Jamboree Street in Quezon City.
The video posted by dzBB’s Luisito Santos on his Twitter account, shows a man pouring water on the windshield and hood of the JMVR Taxi with plate number PXZ 195.
Gatus said Santorias immediately stopped the car and told his passenger to step out just before the fire broke out from the front portion of the vehicle.
The fire was put out by the responding barangay officials and residents.
No one was hurt in the incident.
