House gutted by fire in Bhotebahal

KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 0.4 million was gutted after a fire engulfed the second floor of the house of Pradip Tamrakar in Bhotebahal-21, Kathmandu, at around 10:45 pm, on Monday.
According to police, the fire was ignited by a gas leak in the kitchen of the five storey house.
The fire engulfed furniture and clothes.
Later, at around 11:30 am the fire was doused by the joint efforts of locals, police and fire brigade.
