Fire in truck spreads to goods bogie in Vapi rly yard

A goods train bogie was engulfed in fire in Vapi Railway Yard on Friday morning after fire erupted in a truck transporting plastic material parked near the train. The truck was burnt to ashes.
It took over an hour for the fire officials to douse the fire.
According to fire officials, the fire had erupted on the eastern side of Vapi railway yard. On lookers said that driver and cleaner of the truck managed to fled from the spot. Gradually, the fire spread to one of the goods compartments of the train. There was no loss of life.
