Fire at Kilpauk

A minor fire occured at a private water treatment plant firm in Kilpauk. Police said employees saw smoke billowing in the morning and alerted the fire and rescue services personnel who put out the fire. Short circuit is suspected to be the reason for the fire. None were injured or hurt in the incident.
Running event for special children: ‘Vallamai 2016’, a running event for special children, is being held on Sunday, at YMCA, Nandanam. The run will be flagged off at 8am and will conclude by 9am. This year, 102 kids are participating in this event. Siddharth, chief manager – training of IndusInd Bank, will be the chief guest for this year.
