Minor killed in Terhathum fire

PHIDIM: A minor was killed in a fire incident in Laligurans Municipality of Terhathum district on Saturday afternoon.
The three-year-old Susan Magar, the son of Gopal Magar, was charred to death as the family’s cowshed in Laligurans-10 caught fire at around 3 pm today.
The Terhathum District Police Office said two other kids, three-year-old Mausam Shrestha and four-year-old Chirayu Magar, sustained burn injuries in the incident.
The three kids were playing in the cowshed while it caught fire.
Shrestha is said to be in the critical condition and is undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Meanwhile, fire incidents are reportedly increasing in the eastern region of the nation of late.
