Timely action averts major fire incident

A fire accident was averted in time on Sunday noon. A building on Aravali Marg across Faizabad Road caught fire reportedly sparked off by elevator wiring. Firetenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames before they could spread.
Firemen helped evacuate people on the upper floors and guided them through the staircase which is rarely used. The building houses commercial establishments on ground floor while the portion above is residential.
