Mandalay sees third recent outbreak of fire

A FIRE destroyed a warehouse in Chanmya Thayar ward of Pyigyidagun Township in Mandalay yesterday.
This marks the third destructive fire outbreak in the region in recent weeks, occurring just a few days after the huge Mingalar market fire on 22 March and a house fire that gutted eight family homes on 26 March.
Although the warehouse fire did not spread to other nearby properties the fire engulfed and destroyed all the goods being held in the warehouse, said a witnesses.
