Fire engulfs doc’s car at Wazirganj

A car parked in a residential locality in Wazirganj turned into a fireball on Tuesday, triggering panic in the area.
According to police, Dr RK Gupta, a general surgeon at Balrampur hospital, lodged a police complaint, in which he said that the incident took place when the vehicle was parked outside his residence. He along with neighbours tried to douse flame but failed.
“Investigations are underway. Preliminary reports suggest that tyres caught fire from some other object being burnt near-by,” said Mahant Yadav, SHO Wazirganj. tnn
