One killed, 7 injured in fire at cracker factory in Indore

One person was killed and several others were critically injured after a major fire at a cracker factory in Rau here on Friday morning.
The factory and the adjoining area completely gutted down in the fire before the situation could be brought under control, they said.
The rescue work is still underway, said officials present at the spot. One person died while seven others were reported to be seriously injured. They were rushed to MY hospital with the help of locals and three of them are in a critical condition, said the hospital authorities.
According to eyewitnesses, a loud blast was heard from the factory, which was followed by crackers shooting in all directions. Within minutes the factory and the adjoining area also caught fire and huge flames rose from them too, police said.
