Ssix injured in fire due to gas cylinder leakage

Six persons received burn injuries when a fire broke out after a gas cylinder leaked at Kamraj Nagar in Ghatkopar (East) on Monday morning here.
On Monday at 10.01 am, the blaze broke out in room no 13 of a ground floor chawl at Ghatkopar due to cylinder leakage said fire brigade officials. The fire officials arrived at the spot around 10.27 am and found that the fire was confined to electric wiring, electric installation, household articles, gas tube and stove in the room.
The fire was doused immediately closing main valve of LPG cylinder.
The six injured persons include Chandrashekar Pujari, 48, Vijay Gore, 25, Sachin Sapale 23, Rohit Bhalerao-13, Jayshree Tupe, 40 and Ajay Suresh, 10. All the injured have been admitted at Rajawadi hospital.
