Properties worth Rs 6 lakh gutted in Tanahun house fire

DAMAULI: A sudden electric short circuit sparked fire at a house in Nayabasti of Byas Municipality in Tanahun district and destroyed properties worth Rs 6 lakh.
After locals failed to douse the fire, a fire engine from Byas Municipality contained it, according to the Tanahun District Police Office.
There was no human casualty as there was no body at the house when the fire broke out.
