Fire destroys car workshop warehouse in Mingaladon

A FIRE destroyed a car repair station located at the corner of Padamyar and Myadar road in Pyinmabin village, Mingladon tonwnship on Monday.
The fire broke out at around 9am when a car engine was turned on inside the workshop. A loose engine plug apparently causes the fire. The fire quickly got out of control and spread to an oil container vehicle according to an official from the Fire Service Department. The fire was put down after an hour by over 600 firemen with 56 fire engines.
The police have taken action against one Thet Tun Naing.
