Fire in Cagayan de Oro leaves 200 families homeless

Fire gutted more than 100 houses in Cagayan de Oro City on Friday night, leaving more than 200 families homeless.
Senior Superinjtendent Domingo Tambalo, regional director of the Bureau of Fire Protection, said the fire broke out at around 9 p.m. in San Isidro, Barangay Lapasan.
The fire reached Task Force Bravo before being put out at around 11 p.m.
Investigators said that the fire started from the house of a certain Liza Camomot.
Tambolo said that a lighted candle was toppled while a child was playing in Camomot’s house.
Investigations are ongoing.
