Stubborn blaze

A fire ripped through the 1,000+ sq. warehouse of Van Thanh mattress company in HCMC’s Củ Chi District at about 1.30pm yesterday. Many flammable materials are stored there and the fire spread quickly. The city’s fire rescue team mobilised cranes to pull down walls, so as to approach the scene. Hundreds of firefighters and ambulances were dispatched to stamp out the flames and deal with injured victims.
