Three Factories, Two Premises Damaged In Sibu

SIBU, June 6 (Bernama) — Three factories, a heavy machinery workshop and a hardware shop at Lorong Theng Kung Suk in the Hulu Lanang Industrial Area, here were damaged in a fire today.
A spokesman for the state Fire and Rescue Department said four fire engines with 31 firefighters were dispatched to the scene following a distress call at about 12.30pm.
He said the fire was believed to have started from a sawmill before spreading to a limestone processing factory and a fertilizer factory located close to each other…..
