Short-Circuit fire destroys mobile sale centres in Mandalay

A fire caused by a short circuit broke out in Nahtogyi, a town in Mandalay Region, on Thursday evening, destroying four shops with no one injured in the blaze, said police.
The flame started in a retail store selling mobile handsets and other electronic devices located in Ward-1 in Nahtogyi Township. The two mobile sales and services centers, a textile shop and a pharmacy shop were damaged in the flame. The responsible shop owner has been charged by the police under Section 285 of the Criminal Law.
