Fire Destroys Six Shophouses In Langkawi

LANGKAWI, July 24 (Bernama) — Six units of shophouses were burnt down in a fire incident in Padang Matsirat, here today.
The charred premises include two motorcycle shops, two outlets selling clothings, a herbal store and an ice manufacturing premises.
Langkawi Fire and Rescue Department Operations Commander, Yaacob Hassan said they received a call on the incident at about 10.34am and three fire engines with two supporting vehicles were deployed to contain the situation…..
