Minor fire at Chennai airport

A minor fire broke out at gate one of new domestic terminal of the Chennai airport at around 10am on Sunday. Sources said that a short circuit in an exhaust system caused smoke to come out but it was put out immediately. The fire and smoke caused a flutter as it was busy hour for domestic schedules.
Parenting workshop to handle teenagers: A parenting workshop on how to handle adolescents will be held on July 24 at IIT Madras Research Park auditorium in Taramani. Lions Club gets new president: Online commodities trader Krishna Nathani has been installed as the new president of the Lions Club of Chennai, Harbour Lotus area, for 2016-17. A release stated on Sunday that Nathani called for focusing on skill training for the unemployed youth in slums in the Harbour assembly constituency.
