Fire guts property in Sankhuwasabha

BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 800,000 was destroyed in a fire at Sisuwakhola of Sankhuwasabha on Saturday.
The house that caught fire belonged to Rajendra Kumar Rai, informed the Biratnagar-based Eastern Regional Police Office.
The fire that started at 6 pm yesterday gutted property including gold and silver ornaments, clothes, utensils and food grains, police added.
Police team deployed from Sisuwatar Police Station and locals jointly brought the inferno under control.
Cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
