Equipment worth Rs 10 million destroyed in Bara fire

BIRGUNJ: Property worth Rs 10 million was destroyed in a fire in Chhatapipara, Gadhimai-8 of Bara district on Saturday morning.
The Triveni Feed Industries along the Birgunj-Pathalaiya Industrial Corridor had caught the fire, destroying equipment at the factory.
Police said an electronic short circuit had cause the fire.
The fire had started at 5 in the morning and was taken under control by fire brigades called from Birgunj of Parsa and Kalaiya of Bara in next two hours.
Police Inspector Govinda Karki said exact amount of the loss was yet to be calculated.
No human casualty has been reported in the incident.
