Fire engulfs Yeosu fish market

Fire badly damaged an old fish market in the city of Yeosu early Sunday.
The fire erupted about 2:30 a.m. in sub-zero cold, burning many of the market’s 125 stores. There were no injuries.
It took firemen about two hours to extinguish the blaze.
Authorities said 58 stores on the first floor were gutted, with 23 partially damaged and 35 blackened by smoke. Damage was estimated at 520 million won ($442,000).
