450 chickens killed as Saptari poultry farm catches fire

RAJBIRAJ: Property worth around Rs 500,000 was destroyed when a poultry farm caught fire in Saptakoshi Municipality-4 in Saptari district on Sunday.
The farm belonging to Laxman Bista caught fire and killed at least 450 chickens as well as the hut.
According to the Phattepur-based Police Post in the district, the fire was induced from a short circuit.
Police with the help of the locals had doused the fire.
