25 Squatter Houses In Old Klang Road Razed In Fire

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) — Twenty-five squatter houses near the Scott Garden in Old Klang Road here, were gutted in fire which broke out at 7.30 pm today.
Head of Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Operation Centre Samsol Maarif Saibani said the fire, which was believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, was rapidly spread due to strong wind.
“However, we managed to control the blaze from spreading to over 30 others houses in the area and the fire was completely put out at 10 pm,” he told reporters at the scene…..
