Three houses destroyed in Morang fire incident

MORANG: At least three houses were destroyed when a fire broke out in Lakhantari-7 of Morang district, on Sunday.
According to police, the houses that were destroyed belonged to locals Narayan Majhi, Lalit Thakur and Jhagaru Majhi.
Property loss in the incident has been estimated to be around Rs 800,000, informed DSP Yogendra Singh Thapa of the Morang District Police Office.
The fire started from Narayan Majhi’s kitchen following an electrical problem at around 11 pm yesterday, police added.
Locals and police brought the fire under control at around 1 am today.
