Myagdi fire guts property worth 4 million

MYAGDI: Property worth around Rs four million was destroyed when a house caught fire at Arthunge in Beni Municipality-8 of Myagdi district, on Tuesday.
According to DSP Bishwo Raj Khadka of the Myagdi District Police Office, the property destroyed belonged to Samma Prasad Paudel.
Police said their preliminary investigation suggested that the fire started from an electric short circuit.
The fire has also engulfed the cowsheds nearby.
Locals and police on the site controlled the fire.
