Scrap store fire guts property worth Rs 425,000

KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 425,000 was gutted when a scrap store caught fire, near Samata School in Nayabasti area of Bouddha in KMC-6 on Monday.
The store, owned by one Ramesh Sah (35) of Motihari in India, caught fire due to electrical short circuit yesterday, according to police.
The fire was contained with the help of police and locals/
