Fire guts property worth Rs 600,000 in Baitadi

BAITADI: Goods and property worth Rs 600,000 were gutted by a fire at Dharamghar Bazaar, Bhauneli VDC in Baitadi district on Thursday evening.
The fire broke out at the medical and the cosmetic shop of one Keshab Datta Bhatta at Bhauneli-8, at around 7:30 pm, the District Police Office, Baitadi informed.
It took three hours for the fire brigade from the Dasrath Municipality, the police and locals to douse the inferno.
The shops have been completely gutted by the fire, police said.
