Five Injured In Restaurant Fire Caused By Gas Leak

IPOH, Nov 11 (Bernama) — Five people were injured in a fire caused by a leaking gas cylinder tube in a nasi kandar restaurant in Jalan Pahang, Tapah, about 50 kilometres from here this morning.
Tapah Fire and Rescue Station Operations Chief, Hariri Kamaruddin said an emergency call was made to the station at 7.33am and that a firefighters put out the fire about an hour later.
He said the injured victims included the restaurant owner’s wife and son, as well as three foreign workers…..
