Fire claims minor in Mugu

MUGU – A minor was killed in a fire that took place at Khamale VDC in Mugu district on Monday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as one-year-old Dilmaya Budha, daughter of Lalbir Budha of Khamale VDC-9, according to Chief District Officer, Keshav Raj Sharma.
The fire also destroyed nine houses. Police personnel have been deployed to douse the fire. The incident site lies at a day-long walking distance from the district headquarters, Gamgadhi.
