Massive fire breaks out at Amlekhganj petrol pump

KATHMANDU: A massive fire broke out at Shyasekali Petrol Pump in Amlekhganj VDC-2 of Bara district this morning.
According to police, a newly purchased chassis belonging to the petrol pump, which was being built into a fuel tanker, engulfed in flame at around 11 am. The fire started after the plastic oil drums kept next to the partly built vehicle caught fire due to the short circuit, said Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) at District Police Office, Bara said.
