Fire Destroys 40 Units At Pondok Al-baghdadi In Tumpat

KOTA BHARU, Feb 28 (Bernama) — Fire destroyed 40 units of Pondok Al-Baghdadi, a religious school in Jalan Jal Besar, Tumpat at about 8.20pm tonight.
Tumpat Fire and Rescue Department assistant officer Wan Baijuri Wan Hassan said the department received a distress call at 8.25pm and 10 firefighters and two fire engines were deployed to the scene.
“The fire had already destroyed 20 units when fire fighters arrived 10 minutes later and quickly spread to another 20 units before the fire was brought under control,” he said when contacted by Bernama tonight…..
