Parked truck catches fire, destroys itself in Lele

KATHMANDU: Police said a truck was completely destroyed after a short circuit in its battery sparked fire in the vehicle, at Lele in Bajrabarahi Municipality-14 of Lalitpur district on Friday.
The vehicle (Ba 3 Kha 2778) was parked in the area, added the police.
Meanwhile, police along with the locals and a fire fighter contained the fire. Further investigation is underway.
