Fire Destroys 60 Per Cent Of Boys Hostel In Jempol

SEREMBAN, March 27 (Bernama) — Fire destroyed 60 per cent of a boys hostel situated on the third floor of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Lui Barat, Felda Lui Barat, Jempol, near here, today.
Bandar Seri Jempol Fire and Rescue Station chief Mohd Hazren Mohd Zahar said a distress call was received at 3.53pm before 20 fire fighters from Seri Jempol, Simpang Pertang and Bahau were dispatched to the school.
“The team arrived about 13 minutes later and found 60 per cent of the third floor of the dormitory already destroyed by the fire. However, no casualties or injuries were reported as none of the students were in the building during the incident,” he said when contacted by Bernama here today…..
