Unidentified group sets fire on Baitadi school

BAITADI: An unidentified group has allegedly set the Rauleshwor Secondary School on fire in Bijayapur of Purchaudi Municipality-10, Baitadi.
The arson attack, which took place on Monday night, gutted four rooms of the School, informed DSP Heramba Sharma of the Baitadi District Police Office.
All the documents in the School’s office were destroyed in the fire, police said.
DSP Sharma said police found pamphlets scribbled with words ‘Good Vision Party, India’, in which the school’s principal, Padma Bahadur Bista, was accused of irregularity and not focusing on school’s education.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and started searching the accused.
A team from Purghat Police Post has been deployed to probe into the incident.
