MANILA, April 7 (BERNAMA-NNN-AGENCIES) –A fire that broke out in a shantytown in Manila, destroyed homes of thousands of slum dwellers and killing one.
The fire broke out at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, with coastal winds and heat fanning the flames.
Around 600 houses were quickly engulfed because of the basic building materials that are vulnerable to fire used in the shacks across the 5-acre Barangay site…..
