Two Brothers Burnt To Death In House Fire

MIRI, April 14 (Bernama) — A brother’s attempt to save his younger sibling from raging fire ended in tragedy, when both were burnt to death in a house fire at Kampung Melusok, Jalan Punang Lawas in Limbang, at 2.19am today.
Lawas Fire and Rescue chief Zaki Hussin said during the incident, Teo Yun Tion, 57, tried to save his brother Teo Yin Hee, 58, who was on the upper floor of the two-storey house, but failed, as the thick smoke on the ground floor led the two to be trapped upstairs.
“According to witnesses, thick smoke was visible inside and outside the ground floor of the house during the incident,” he said when contacted by Bernama today…..
