Carpet factory catches fire in Dakshindhoka

KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 300,000 was gutted in a fire at a carpet factory in Dakshindhoka, Gokarneshwor Municipality-7 of Kathmandu district on Tuesday.
The Devi Carpet Factory owned by Gopal Basnet had caught fire after a cooking gas leakage, said police.
The fire was doused with the collective effort of locals, security personnel and fire engines.
Police are investigating into the case.
