Fire breaks out at RMG warehouse

Fire damaged valuables at the godown of garment accessories of Golden Son Ltd in Khowaz Nagar area of Chittagong city yesterday.
Fire Service officials said the fire broke out at the warehouse, housed on the first floor of Golden Son’s 10-storey building around 10:35am. Fire Fighters rushed there and extinguished the fire around 12:35pm.
However, the reason behind the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately, they added.
