20 houses gutted in Ctg fire

Fire gutted 20 tin-roofed houses in Hazi Colony of Ghat Farhadbeg area in Chittagong city yesterday.
Fire Service sources said the fire was originated around 7:30am at one of the houses. On information, fire fighters rushed there and extinguished it around 9:55am.
Fire service officials estimated the damage caused by the fire at around Tk 6 lakh. However, they could not ascertain the reason behind the fire.
