Efforts To Put Out Fire At Rubbish Dump Site In Sungai Merab Underway

PUTRAJAYA, May 16 (Bernama) — Efforts are still underway to put out a fire at the illegal rubbish dumping ground in Kampung Limau Manis, Sungai Merab, Selangor which had been burning since Sunday, said Human Resource and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar
He said the operations involved the Fire and Rescue Department, Putrajaya Corporation, Sepang District and Land Office, and the Department of Environment (DOE).
The fire was still emitting thick smoke which affected the nearby housing area in Precinct 15, Putrajaya, about 500 metres from the location…..
