Fire breaks out at Katong mall

A fire last night at I12 Katong led to the mall being cordoned off. Smoke was seen streaming out of the building in East Coast Road at about 10pm as onlookers gathered outside. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said that the fire broke out in a first-floor unit and no injuries were reported.
