House For Timber Factory Workers Destroyed In Fire

MIRI, June 20 Jun (Bernama) — A two-storey wooden house which served as an accommodation for 70 workers of a timber factory was destroyed in a fire in Kuala Baram today.
Mire Fire and Rescue chief Law Poh Kiong said firemen rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 6.33 am and managed to control the blaze at 7.39 am.
He said there was no report of a casualty in the fire…..
