Fire at two religious schools in Perak

IPOH: Students at two religious schools in Perak were given a jolt when parts of their school were destroyed by fires on Sunday night.
In Pengkalan Hulu, 18 student accommodation units were razed.
However, no casualties or injuries were reported.
According to a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, all the units were damaged by the blaze, but the 66 students housed there managed to escape unscathed.
Meanwhile, a storeroom at a school in Teluk Intan went up in flames in another late night fire.
The storeroom at SM Maahad Al Islah, which was used tables, mattresses and chairs, was destroyed in the blaze.
